shapes of emotions
what states can an architectural object evoke,
created with the intention of harmonizing the environment?
the creation of forms is treated as a simple aesthetic gesture and as an extension of a mood; it becomes a tool that transforms emotion into presence, attitude into gesture, and space into an experience.
"shapes of emotions", an exhibition in which it was presented a collection of dedicated architectural objects imbued with symbols, metaphors and recurring themes such as: time, memory, the human–environment relationship, and experience as a form of knowledge.
these objects acted as catalysts for the state of mind, carriers of emotion, living memories, extensions of the self.
there are events that inform—and there are those that resonate. on may 23rd within the romanian design week framework, phenomena laboratory and cortina elysium co-created an experience that moved beyond words, sharing not only insights, but experiences.
from the visionary perspectives of arch dorin ștefan, to the conceptual visions of arch eduard nicolae baicu-stănescu, the cultural bridges brought by atty adrian gociu, and the immersive storytelling of dir/ scr ioana mischie, the conference revealed the invisible forces that shape how we live within space—and how space inhabits us.
through the voices of these remarkable guests and the resonance of their ideas, we explored how space and objects can become emotion, how gesture becomes presence, and how form becomes reflection.
